Patient Relations

The care we provide patients and their families extends beyond world-class clinical treatments. We understand this period of treatment can be a stressful time  and we try to alleviate all worries by facilitating all the daily living needs of the patient and their family in order to make their stay as comfortable and enjoyable as possible.. The patient relations team are in charge of assisting with all non-medical needs for the patient and their companions.

Patient Relations will help with:

  • Pre-Arranged Transportation: Help guide patients through the arrival process and provide direction to the pre-arranged transportation.
  • Arranging Accommodations: Help coordinate living accommodations hotels, apartments , comfortable homes and assist with daily housing questions , issues , needs and concerns.
  • Financial Assistance: Assist with setting up bank accounts.
  • Cars rentals: Help families with car rental , buying, insurance and shipping.
  • Travel Arrangements: Assist with all domestic and international flights booking .
  • Tour of Key Locations: Provide a tour of key locations and provide an overview of the local customs, laws and regulations. Familiarize the patient with emergency services and procedures.
  • Embassies: Assist with all non-medical embassies work related such as companion exchange/add , completing work and school excuse letter , visa extension.
  • Interpretation: performs non-medical interpretation services for patients and companions .
  • Events: Patient Relations Team plan and manage various events ranging from large events such as hosting national day events to smaller events.
  • Personal Communications: Help set up communications such as internet and mobile phone activation.
  • Cultural/Religious Needs: Support the patient’s cultural and/or religious needs by locating resources to accommodate those needs.
  • Entertainment Options: Gather, research, and inform patients and their families of entertainment options that may help alleviate stress.
  • 24 Hour Availability: Be available to help patients and companions on most other personal needs 24 hours a day.
